The Iris is a boutique hotel nestled deep in the Rajgundha Valley, a remote and breathtaking location surrounded by towering mountains on two sides and terraced village fields on the other. It is the first premium hospitality offering in this untouched, rural landscape — a place where stillness defines the rhythm of life.

We were entrusted with designing the interiors of the 11-bedroom hotel, imagining a space that feels both immersive and grounded. The design draws from the vastness and calm of the valley, using an earthy, minimal palette punctuated by site-inspired hues — soft greens, deep blues, and stone greys.
The interiors are shaped to offer comfort and quiet luxury — not through opulence, but through thoughtful details, warmth, and a deep sense of place. All the interior elements come together to create spaces that open up to the landscape, rather than distract from it.
